Win 7 netgear FS105 connection comes up as 'unidentified network' and public can't change anything in Set Network Properties for the connection

The netgear FS105 is a switch not a router so their is no dhcp you may have to set a static ip and gateway on each device, how is the cell phone connected?

I think you may need to get a router to share internet.

I have a router on a cell phone for connection to the web - I'm attempting to connect printers and a second desktop to the laptop via the switch
