I Want To Upgrade My Gaming PC (Not With A Titan)

It has been about two and a half years since I got my PC and I feel compelled to upgrade it. Or at least parts of it. Here is what I'm working with at the moment:

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64-Bit)
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 975 Black 3.6GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H Crossfire AM3 DDR3 890X 1866
RAM: Kingston Hyper X DDR3/1600MHz 2GB x2
Graphics Card: AMD Radeo HD6870 1GB DDR5
Hard Drives: 64GB SSD, 1TB, 2TB, 3TB
Power Supply: Thermaltake Toughpower XT 875 Watt Modular
Cooling: Asetek 510LC 120MM Watercooler and a bunch of fans
Monitors: 24in x2 and a 32in TV (all at 1920x1080)

I use my computer for web browsing and YouTube watching (with multiple browsers with multiple tabs open across my monitors), and playing games (Battlefield 3, Borderlands 2, Anno 2070, Saints Row 4, Euro Truck Simulator 2 Minecraft, Terraria, and many others). Occasionally I try to record gameplay and render videos but I usually end up with dropped frames when I do that.

I would like to know what parts of my current system may be a bottleneck (I think my current motherboard can only hand 4GB of RAM but I could be wrong) and what I should upgrade so I can handle the latest games with high settings and be able to record it, for at least the next couple of years. Unless that requires a Titan because I'm not that serious about games.

I don't necessarily have a budget in mind, other than not spending the money on a Titan. I typically buy parts from Newegg or Amazon depending on who has the better price. And I would like to start buying parts within the next month or two. I'm willing to upgrade whatever I need to and any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Definitely look to upgrade the DRAM - your mobo takes up to 16GB (4x4GB), would go minimum of 2x4GB 1600/8 or 9, Titan I think would be overkill, might look to the new 290X being released, I believe tomorrow, think they were released in the EU already, else look at the 780, the Titan is slightly better than the 780, but don't think it's $300 worth better ;)  Might consider a bigger SSD though you look pretty set, storage wise

Even the manual explicitly states that the mobo can take up to 16GB so I don't know why I had it in my head that I was maxing it out at 4GB. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I'm going to add a couple more sticks to that and probably look into getting a bigger SSD. Right now I'm knee-deep in reviews and benchmarks for graphics cards.
