Can i use a micro card backup of my comp system as a boot up for my comp

I have a micros sd card w a backup of my windows 7 can i use it as a boot er my computer has a green screen ? Pleas let me know and how would i do it ? Thanx !

Now. You would need to either do an F8 when you turn your comptuer on and go to Startup Repair and then you can restore the backup or boot from a Win 7 DVD and click on the repair when you get to the main screen and restore for the SD card.

The backup doesn't store things like the bootloader, so no, you can't boot from it. It can be done if you do a full clone of the OS drive and your machine supports booting from that medium.
