I'm building a rig for the first time and could use some guidance on the GPU. For some reason the difference in price between a MSI 4Gb and the 2Gb model of other companies is very smal. Making me think there's something wrong with the 4Gb version of MSI. For instance both Asus and Gigabyte's GTX770OC's are just about 10 to 20 bucks less. Now my logic sais get the 4Gb, but also makes me wonder that there's something I'm missing.

The build I'm planning is:
Mobo: Asus Max. VI Hero
CPU: i7 4770k
Cooling: Noctua NH-D14
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x8Gb
GPU: MSI GTX770 4Gb (or GTX770 2gb that's better)
SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 120Gb
HDD: WD 1Tb Black
PSU: Corsair TX750M

By the way if there's something that could be changed for the better in the build above I would certainly appreciate suggestions, off course within same price rage as given part. I mainly use my PC for image and video editing together with gaming. Might plan to overclock in the future but don't see me go further than 4,1Ghz with this setup, hope I'm right... Thanks in advance.

The amount of Vram needed is based on what resolution you play at. If 1080P then the 2GB card is going to handle it fine.
Rig looks good with quality components.

What rolli said, if you are gaming over a 1080p resolution then you will want a 4GB version of the GTX 770 http://amzn.to/1eO6wR1 but 1080p or less resolution would only warrant a 2GB version of GTX 770.
