My current rig is:
APEX Vortex 3620 case

CORSAIR CX600 600W Power Supply

ASRock FM2A75 Pro4 FM2 Motherboard

AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) cpu

Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) Ram

Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM Hard Drive

SAMSUNG DVD Burner SATA Model SH-224BB

Corsair h50 CPU cooler

I am looking to make an upgrade because of the bottleneck that I have. I am looking at the AMD fx 8350 and this mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131873 . Is this mobo good for this cpu? I am not looking to overclock. Also what frames can I be looking to get and when switching the mobo and cpu and do I need to wipe my hard drive or no when switching the mobo and cpu? If anyone could help and answer these questions I would be very grateful, thank you. :D

Solution
Generally if you don't OC and use only 1 GPU, and only use 2 sticks of ram, all mobos will be ok. Though it will matter from which manufacturer/brand you get your supplies, asus and gigabyte are good brands. I'm not saying MSI is not good, it's also OK.

You don't need to wipe your HDD. But you need to uninstall all the drivers you have for you mobo, and install the new ones from their website.

That mobo is already decent for you since you don't want to OC or anything. It's a good build if you want a plug and play style of PC. hehe But how much fps are you getting with the games you play? I don't think you'll see that much of a difference bro.

When playing battlefield 3 playing on low settings and max settings I get the same fps. Basically around 40-60 fps. When i lower the settings the fps doesn't increase, which is caused by the bottleneck am I right? I am looking to get rid of the bottleneck so I can get the full performance out of my pc.

I see, that's where you'll see the improvements though. I think it would be around 50 to 60 fps, not from 40 to 60fps. You know you can OC the 5800k bro, then it would massively improve your framerate. But if you're not comfy with that, yea you can go for the 8350 or 4670.

Is the mobo I chose for it good for the cpu? Also when changing the cpu and mobo do I have to do anything to my hard drive like wipe it or anything? Also do you recommend any good case under $100?

Where do I go to uninstall the drivers for my current mobo and do I uninstall the drivers for my current mobo before I replace it with a new mobo?
