4x4gb sticks vs 2x8gb sticks. Corsair vengeance.

Was wondering if 4 sticks of 4gb ram is better than 2 sticks of 8gb. I had heard it was and was wondering if it that big of a difference and if there is an advantage to doing that? Thank you

If your board supports 8gig sticks, that is what I would get. Less parts doing the same thing, less chance for problems. Unless price is a big concern.

Get the 8gb Ones, That way it is much easier to upgrade to 32gb in the future

Yep, if mobo supports it, 2x8GB much better, less stress on the MC (memory controller) and actually just a hair faster as only 2 lanes to run instead of 4
