I'm about to build my first gaming PC, I took care of choosing future-proof components, because I want my build to last at least 2-3 years before upgrading.

What do you think? Also, what gaming keyboard do you recommend? I don't like the looks of the most popular ones, they look just too "Beastly". I would like to get some recommendations about the components, alternatives, etc.

The price limit is $1300

Best regards.

Looks solid. I'd keep NVIDIA's Holiday Sale in mind when pulling the trigger on that card.

His motherboard supports dual channel, so he only needs to fill the two. Where in the world did you get the idea that all the slots had to be filled?

Other than that, your build looks great. I have a Corsair K70 keyboard and love it. Nothing too over the top, mechanical keyboard, red lights, no macro keys, very simple and well built.

Woaw! I didn't know about that sale, thank you, that's some good news!

I'll update the post once the build is done, so you can check it out. Maybe in 3 weeks or so, I need free time to buy all the parts and put them together.

Best regards.
