He means you need PCI-E 3.0 X16 not 2.0 but fortunately 3.0 compatible with 2.0, motherboard will be good but your processor can bottleneck your graphics card. which processor do you have

Will be fine for now but for future video cards you need Motherboard with PCI-E 3.0 like this:
