Which is the better case overall? I plan on doing crossfire with 2 r9 280x sapphire toxics in the future with air cooling.

Both are great cases and can handle 2 cards, just take in consideration if you have the room to put the Air 540 as the thing is gigantic.

How well do you think the R4 stacks up against the corsair model in terms of air cooling? As long as it isn't a huge dip I'd take it because of how quiet I hear it is.

In the Anandtech review of the Air 540 you can see too the R4 in the charts, so it can give you a better idea on how to compare them.

Basically it has much better temperature management while being poor on the acoustics side.

Thanks for the help. I think I'll go with the Corsair :) . Those temps are just so much better. I'll be able to survive the extra noise.
