hey guys, exactly as the title say i have serious throttling when I use my discrete 7670m and it is because the cpu temps rises to high (95c). When i use the IGP its fine but discrete causes the processor to get hot. I think this might be caused by the IGP as I don't think it powers down when not in use. Please I would appreciate if someone can give me a response ASAP as i want to know if I need a cooling pad.
p.s My laptop is the aspire v3 551g but under doesn't heat up at all
