Hi sorry if this is in the wrong category.
I'm new to building computers and I am currently building one and have installed all of the parts but when I try to boot it up for the first time the Power supply fan turns for about 4 seconds and thats it. No Power button LED turns on nothing. Just the Power supply fan turns on for 4 seconds. I'm pretty sure i have installed all of the parts correctly but maybe not.
What am i doing wrong? What can I do to fix this?
Please answer as soon as possible,

Solution
SR71 has pointed you in the right direction.
Your PSU is right on the minimum requirement for a system with that video card.
Check the power supply with a muti-meter (volt meter), but when I have done that the tester almost always tells me there is sufficient voltage; probably because there is not load on the PSU.
Make sure all the power connectors to the motherboard are securely attached, it's easy to not push them in all the way and it is possible to forget the auxillary power connection by the CPU (8-pin EATX 12V).
Best way to check the power supply is to try another KNOWN good PSU and see if the system boots; that would also check the mobo.

Ohhh ok so would i need to get a new motherboard and power supply??If so I do not know which ones i should get and what is compatible with all of my specs
I'll be getting a power supply tester to see if it is dead or not.. is there anyway i can test the motherboard???

Connect one of your case fans to the appropriate power lead (4 pin molex connector) from your PSU; this is to place an electrical load on the PSU.
Then try the paperclip test.
ATTACH EVERYTHING, INCLUDING THE PAPERCLIP, WITH THE PSU UNPLUGGED/OFF!!!

When you turn on the computer, does it show a boot or BIOS screen?
Does it ask if you want to "Boot from CD "or other media?
If it does show this message, did you have the disc in the drive so you could install the operating system?
Please read the below Tom's link and go through ALL the steps: Then repost here on this thread and we can try to help troubleshoot. Otherwise this will take forever - going back-and-forth.

Hang in there, you will get it running.
