Computer says there is no Internet Access but there is?

I built my own computer about 3 weeks ago and about 10 days ago or so the computer started telling me there is no internet access. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and my computer is connected through an ethernet cable but the computer is saying there is no internet access even though I am using the same computer to type this right now. I have tried uninstalling the network drivers and reinstalling them which works until I turn the computer off and turn it back on later. I have tried googling my problem but nothing has worked yet. Can someone please help fix my problem?

Disable the unused, extra LAN jack. Doesn't that board have 2 of them?

right click on the icon to get to the network and sharing center. see if there might be more then one connection active e.g vpn.

I have Intel(R)82579V Gigabit Network Connection and Blackberry Virtual Private Network but I don't think that is the problem because I have disabled the blackberry one before and it still said I have no internet access I have also uninstalled it before but nothing changed.

Is it ok for a bit if you disable it and re enable it, Windows sometimes thinks my realtek is not working properly sometimes. i can ignor it for days until it bugs me.

I have tried disabling it for periods of time but it never fixes it.
