Just bought a Gateway DX4370G-UW10 A6-3620 Quad Core - it has a Graphics: AMD Radeon™ HD 6530D - has a vga and an HDMI. Question : can i use an hdmi to vga (video only) (http://www.amazon.com/Video-Cable-Black-Support-Necessary/dp/B002TUC64W/ref=pd_sim_e_2)
cable to the 2nd monitor?

read the reviews. It sucks doesn't work. Besides VGA is analog. HDMI is digitial. If you have a DVI input on the monitor use a HDMI to DVI adapter. that for sure will work.

Yea you can get a straight HDMI to DVI cable and it will work just fine. Used them many times before.

Just future reference Only thing that can convert to VGA is a DVI-I connection with a DVI to VGA adapter. A DVI-D, Display Port, and HDMI you can not use without a converter box with are pricey, don't always work well, and they just suck, BUT a DVI, DP, and HDMI are all easily convered from one to another because they are digital connections.
