I'm having major motherboard (model: M2N78-LA) issues after attempting to install the SPDIF cable from a graphics card onto the motherboard. I originally tried connecting the spdif cable from my motherboard to the graphics card. The digital audio didn't come out so I put the computer to sleep. Thinking that I switched up the 5v vs. ground connector (motherboard and GPU both didn't label 5v vs. ground), I flipped the connection around and tried to bring up the computer. I didn't see, feel or hear any static discharge. The computer didn't come back up. The computer light turns on and the fans are running but the bios doesn't boot. Troubleshoot methods I have tried but to no avail:

Power Cycle
Replacing PSU
Running the computer with no RAM to listen for beeps (none happened)
Power cycle CMOS battery
Visual inspection for bulging capacitors
Running with no Graphics Card

Any last ditch suggestions? Anyone else have this problem installing SPDIF cables? I have a feeling I fried the motherboard.
