I've recently got a TP-Link wn751nd in the mail. When I went to install it I saw that the gpu fan (gtx 560ti) was positioned downwards. I'm afraid that this may cause cooling issues and further problems. My gpu idles at 54 degrees C right now and before it idled at around 30-40. I don't think Amazon gives refunds on opened and used products. I only have one fan too because my mother board only had one space for the chasis fan which I had to the rear fan. Not much ventilation as there is no room for it.

It depends on how close the card is to the fan. The gfx card fan is an intake fan. If it can pull in air it can cool no matter how close the card is. Dual gfx cards sometimes sit very close together, and they cool fine. 54C is not bad idle temp for a gfx card. I'm surprised that it only idled at 20-30C before.

Why can't you run another case fan off the PSU's Molex connectors?

I have a Corsair 500W I'm not sure if I can use that to power an 80mm fan. I was getting quite fearful. I have an ASUS M5A78LM_LX_PLUS motherboard also. The card is also covering about 2/5 of the fan. I just wanted to make sure.

Unfortunately I can't post of the pic, my phone was recently stolen. I've recently built my first pc. I'm relatively new to this. Also, How would I connect my case fan to my PSU. I only have one because my case came with two.

Use molex like 4 pin to fan 2 pin (or 3 pin). sometimes they were included with the fan when you purchased one
