Windows 8.1 Nvidia Drivers Black Screen

I have tried to install Nvidia's drivers, latest drivers on windows 8.1 Pro. all I get is a black screen when starting installation. everything worked fine in windows 8 Pro. Tried running GeForce experience also to install that way, but same thing every time, black screen. And no way to get out of it, like Ctrl-Alt-Del. seems to turn off the HDMI port completely cause my project says can't find signal after black screen. thanks for any help!

I have a gtx 570.

Never mind, I figured it out. You need a bios update. Didn't need it for Windows 8, but definitely need it for Windows 8.1. Might be the reason for others getting black screens on Windows 8 with other issues.
