Monitor goes blank after bios... Help?

I have a issue where the monitor displays a no signal display. I can view the bios normally and the boot up is normal up until where it is supposed to load windows 8 is where the display goes black. Why is this?

Sapphire Radeon hd 7870
Asus m5a99x evo r2.0
Corsair cx750

Any help is much appreciated

Both connectors from ps are connected to gpu. It's been fine for a while until lately on start up it's been goin black after bio but then I'd unplug and reconnect the VGA cable and it would be fine until now

Just trying to keep you from having to buy a new gpu.
