I have a 320gb hard drive that has been partitioned to GPT, and I cannot format the drive back to MBR and windows 7 Ultimate wont recognize it and install it. I used Partition Manager and it wont format it. What can I do, As it is now it is basically worthless to me.

Assuming there's nothing important on the hard drive then remove/delete all partitions from it and it will automatically revert to MBR.
You'll also need to boot the installer CD in legacy mode, not UEFI, if you want to install windows on it. Look in your BIOS.
