Moved file to nowhere

Was moving a folder to a network drive and needed admin privileges to do that (even though its an admin account anyways) so I opened up an admin cmd and typed in move to see the syntax, just gave me an error so I typed "move C:\aaaa" and entered it and it said file moved. Wait, WHAT? Well I go to explorer and hit CTRL + Z and it says it cant find the file. Any help?
