I recently built a gaming rig, with parts from newegg. it runs fine, except for the fact that in certain applications, it will reboot (SR3, SR4, GTA IV) And,I receive a 5d and 55 error. (debug LED flashed between them).
The manual for the MoBo said that they both mean Memory Initialization Errors.
Now, as its not with every application, and It boots fine with each both sticks of ram together and individually, It would have to be a bad Motherboard, correct?
My Specs are:
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-F2A85X-UP4 FM2 AMD A85X
PSU: Rosewill Green Series RG430-S12 430W
RAM: Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model 996770
APU: AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz, Air Cooled. stock cooler.
SSD: Mushkin Enhanced Chronos MKNSSDCR 120GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD
