First off, please no desktops are better. I know they are, but for my personal uses I NEED the portability that a laptop can afford me while still having some ommph behind it. So it wasn't of the
Second off, please no Red Vs. Green Wars. I go for best bang for buck. Not to mention, not very many games I play with physix, so while I do like Nvidia I will still go with best bang for buck.
Games I DO play are: Simcity 2013, Borderlands 1 and 2, Sims 3, Command and Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath, Saint's Row 3 and 4, Dungeon Defenders, Just Cause 2, Marvel Heroes, World of Warcraft, Diablo III, Torchlight 1 and 2.
Looking at it hopefully lasting me about 3 years or longer. Even if I need to cut detail settings down over time.

I had an ABSOLUTE max budget of $1800. I thought of going with the GTX 780M (being what looked like the most powerful single mobile gpu out, but the price would have jumped another $200, and since I also do Video/Photo and Audio editing as well as on occasion mess around with virtual machines, I figured the 16GB Ram was better suited for me. I also wanted to keep the Blu-ray drive as I watch a lot of Blu-ray movies and such that was a stock part in the model I choose. The wireless was also a stock pick on the model I selected.
I thought this was the best bang for my buck as the 8970M was better than the stock GTX 770M and also seemed to practically tie with 2x GTX 675M's in SLI, (My previous laptop had a single GTX 675M and it was decent enough for me.

Since I already ordered it, it's pretty much set, but I just figured I would see what other's thought and just get general opinions. Again please no wars. I just went with a cost/ performance and this is what I came up with.
