But I'd go with a R9 290x if I were you. (If you'd like to shell out~550) It beat the Titan in alot of tests.
If you don't want to wait a week for custom branded heatsinks and OC'ed models, check out the R9 280x or 7970's.

Brands doesn't make any difference when it comes to performance. Quality wise they are also same. All that matters is that, which card you're going for, but yes there are some special features, customizations that are offered by brands i.e MSI Hawk edition twin frozer II(2 cooling fans), EVGA Super clocked edition(preoverclocked by evga) etc etc. so it's upto you which brand you want to buy but performance wise they are nearly identical.

Not really true. Some are quieter, others cooler, others more appealing, some pre-overclocked, some with better overclocking ability and some come fixed. (Fixed as in you can't overclock them).
The GPU may be the same, but the card and performance-fullest potential is not.
