How bad is my Disk?

Solution

Retired sectors means the drive has unreadable sectors. You can still write data do the disk, but when you try to read the data, the disk will tell you it is unreadable / lost and mark this sector for reallocation. Next time you write to this sector, it gets retired, but that doesn't help: the data written to it in the first place is lost! The drive is already dead! Start a disk check with he bad sector option and you will see.

yo, :) How long do you think this drive would last? I plan to use it until it dies.
