For the past 1 week, I had randomly been getting a blue screen after 2-3 hrs of work on my PC. What was odd was, just before the blue screen I heard a single beep from inside my cabinet. After the blue screen, it restarted and worked. Yesterday after the blue screen. when my PC restarted, it started checking disk C. At about 58% I heard the beep and a subsequent blue screen. Now, every time I switch my PC on, it starts checking disk C but I hear the beep before the checking starts, i.e, during the countdown to cancel the check disk. Then the PC freezes indefinitely. The common thing is that I hear the beep, a single short beep every time before the freeze. If i try to cancel the disk check, I still hear the beep before reaching the Enter Password screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Motherboard - Intel DH87RL
Processor - Intel i5 4430
Graphics Card - Nvidia 9400gt
RAM - Kingston 4GB
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 2TB
PSU - Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 350W
OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit Service Pack 1
P.S. - This computer had been running perfectly for 1.5 months before the blue screen started happening.
