1. I have got a Dlink2730U modem. It has got 1 x Line port, 4 x Ethernet ports and WiFi. Previously i used it to connect to the BSNL broadband using the line port(RJ11) and connect my laptop to the modem using WiFi/Ethernet cable.

2. Now i have got a WiMax connection from BSNL which directly gives me Ethernet (RJ45) cable. So I want to use the one Ethernet port of the modem to connect the cable from BSNL and use the WiFi/other three Ethernet ports to access the internet.

3. Please help me in this regard.

I don't think you can make this thing do that. The DLink 2730U is a ADSL modem+router. It accepts the ADSL signal via the RJ11 port, the modem part converts that to something the router portion can use. That then sends it out via the 4 ports on the back.

What you really need is just a dedicated router. Pretty much any one would work.

You could try it. I doubt it work work, though.
