MY 32 bit system (Vista Home Premium) doesn't seem to be using the full 4GB of ram If I am reading it right only 2.8GB.

Under Control Panel\System it states 4GB
Under the task manager: Performance Tab: Physical Memory: Total 2813

There should be no sharing with the video card (Nvidia 8600 GTS 256MB)
ReadyBoost 4096MB

So it all should be normal? right? Unless I totally missed something.

Solution
It is all normal. A 32-bit operating system only has 4GB of addressable memory space. You can install as much memory as your motherboard will allow, but the OS still has a maximum of 4GB addressable space. Part of this space is taken up by your graphics card. Another is taken by system overhead. This leaves only (in your case) 2.8 GB of addressable space left available for your 4GB of installed RAM.

Hope this helps.
