I have a ati radeon 6770 that has its stock thermal paste still on it. I was wondering if i should change that out with the artic alumina that i have lying around, or just leave it like it is? Also, would it be ok to clean the heatsink and graphics chip with isopropyl or would that be bad?
Should i change the thermal paste?

This fits into the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" catagory. I don't recommend changing out thermal paste unless you are having heat issues, and even then it might not be the thermal paste that is the problem. Isopropyl alcohol is the preferred cleaner.

if u remove heat sink from processor replace thermal paste same logic for gpu . if u r not remove the heat sink just remove fan then clean heat sink no need to change thermal paste . hope u understand correctly .
