So like the title says, I'm getting around 10FPS on this game, which makes absolutely no sense to me. I was wondering if there were any work arounds for this or if anyone could help me out, thank you.

Solution
The driver version will be in the format 13.x or 13.xx. What AA level are you trying to run? Turn aa completely off for now. To see cpu usage open task manager and go to performance. Look at the cpu usage graphs and not the overall usage. Are any graphs maxing out?

For gpu usage use either msi afterburner or gpuz. Does gpu usage reach 100%?

There is most definitely a reason why you can't run on high, but we just haven't found it yet.

Edit: Some games allow software based physx (cpu runs it) which will kill any cpu. If physx isn't set to off then turn it off.
What settings are you trying to run? Which card do you have? 7800 series could be 7850, 7870, or 7870 xt. What is your gpu cpu usage like in game? What driver are you using (open CCC and in info or about or something it will show 13.x)?

trying to run on medium, but there's no reason I shouldn't be able to run on high. My card is a 2gb 7850, drivers are
Driver Packaging Version 13.152-130830a-163178C-ATI

I'm not sure about cpu or gpu usage however

Solution
try disabling demanding setting such as anti aliasing and tessellation if possible. or try playing in dx9. the previous game got unplayable when running in dx11 due to poor implementation of dx11. i just hope they don't repeat the same mistake as arkham city. anyway i don't have radeon so i don't know if amd already releasing optimized driver for the game. so if amd did release one make sure to use it

So I just wanted to mention that I pre-loaded the game on steam. I deleted everything and reinstalled, I also turned off their Physx accelerator or whatever it was called, and I'm now running the game on 60-70FPS at all times on high, thank you for your help, not sure if it was the uninstall and reinstall or the physx enhancer but it's fixed now. Thank you
