Can I reverse the top 200mm fan to blow in instead of out without having heat issues? The fan has to be "upside down" in order to blow out... And with see through mesh that doesn't look good.

Case: CM HAF XB

Fans: (All ports used)

2x 140mm front intake
1x 200mm top
1x 120mm rear
2x 80mm rear lower

All fans are blowing the directions they are supposed to (push&pull config from CoolerM) but will reversing one fan be to bad?

Got a CoolerM Hyper 212 Evo instead of stock intel cooler, not gonna OC (4770K)

Any input is appreciated!

You can change its direction as you see fit. However, pay attention to your temps, it may not bring an improvement and could also make temps worse. Front, side, and bottom are usually set-up as intakes, top and rear are almost always exhaust. Just try it and see if it works for you. Also realize that if you plan on turning the top into an intake, you may want to get a dust filter as the mesh on top won't do a very good job by itself.

Wow , we both have a 212 EVO and HAF XB ?
Anyways , getting an intake on top is crappy IMO.
I cant test as I have the windowed edition , its just my opinion.
like animal said tops are for exhaust but that's an exception here.
Your top is like a side if your taking it from the heatsink's angle. Bur my main concern is the fact that it will fit along with the mesh and fan or not. Its tough if fan is more than 30mm thick , so be careful.

I got the windowed version to (by mistake tho :p ) Had to buy some aluminum mesh (for car fronts) and make a custom sheet and attach it, looks cooler though :p

Yeah I'll mount the fan to be an outtake and then reverse it and see what happens...

.... When i get my defect (DOA) AX 760i PSU replaced! Aaaargh
