I recently bought a new psu and the GTX 650 although when it comes to putting my new gpu into my pci express 16 and powering my computer there is no display.
1]Yes i have plugged my VGA cable from my LCD monitor to my Graphics card
2]Yes my BIOS is already set to do PEG then IGPU
Currently i have Intel HD 2000 graphics (Oh i wish i could turn back time and got a different pc)
But i have seen people's threads saying to disable there igpu first.. but say if i did that and then restarted.. put my new gpu in and it didn't work? how would i get back on my pc?
Aswell as this usually to turn my pc of by the button you must hold it.. where as when i have my gpu in and then power my computer and there's no display it takes 1 press of the button to shut my system off, my gpu's fan moves so im guessing it works.. any help would be appreciated
I have the Lenovo h520s
i3 proccessor
8gb RAM
mobo (I don't know what the motherboards name is but i saw a thread of the gtx650 review and they used the motherboard out of the h520s so im pretty certain it would work)
psu:
F01004 Seasonic SS-350TGM 350W PFC 80PLUS Gold Power Supply (Aswell as this i know the card requires '400w' but ive been told ALOT of times that this psu is more than capabable of running this gpu)
Also to add to this on my gpu i have a 'Yellow'? vga slot?? never seen this before but on the metal peice it say's 'crt' which made me think it was for those old computers >.< but my vga slot fits perfectly into it? i have ordered a DVI-D to vga adapter and will try that as soon as possible:)
I am also using window's 8 (No i do not have UEFI)

I don't need to plug my psu into my gpu? there isn't any slot's either and the fan works so it must have power.

well its al ow profile low power gtx, so no pci-e connectors, to get back into windows you would need to remove your card and plug your monitor back into the motherboard vga. As for the card make sure the "CRT" is plugged into the card snuggly, (crt is cathode ray tube, aka old big bulky monitors) but it could be the vga doesnt work on it, or the card is bad, or the pci e slot you have doesnt function properly.

The so called 'CRT' that it show's on the metal is actually a D-SUB which i believe is for sound.. I have ordered a DVI-D to VGA connector and will try connecting it using the dvi slot.
So my card has:
D-SUB (Yellow Slot)
HDMI
DVI-D slot (It's also to my understanding DVI-D is for both digital and analog, correct me if i'm wrong)
