760 SLI vs 770 multiple monitors

Which would be better? 760's in SLI or a single 770. At first I will be running dual monitors but I may go up to three. The 760 is more in my budget but I'm willing to spend the extra cash if the 770 is worth it. I play a lot of minecraft (not sure how GPU intensive it is) and nothing else really due to the fact my laptop can't handle it. But I hope to get into FPS and really anything. I would only be getting one 760 to start with but would SLI within the next 6 months.
Would love to hear your opinions. Thanks

Agree with rolli however it depends with some games not fully supporting SLi, it is often wisest to go with a single gpu
with only minecraft being a no graphically extensive game then 770 is overkill and 760's are the way to go
