Im new to PC gaming and i want to build my own PC to save some money. I want to be able to run games such as BF3 and other FPS games on mediumish settings. Im looking at buying the items at the end of November early December. I would love to keep it bellow 800 or right around that price range. I also need to include and OS.

He said he wants to play BF3 and I am sorry to say but Battlefield 3 is not available on Ubuntu. So he would need either Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 to play BF3 which your build misses.
