No Display From GPU, though system boots (SOLVED)

GPU was working fine yesterday, played Black OPS 2, today all of the sudden i got blank display, monitor LED blinks, GPU Fan Spins and system boots, i can hear startup music.
BIOS settings are good
Cleared BIOS
Cleaned GPU dust, its seated well on PCi
GPU 6pin Chord connected
DVI, VGA both Checked.
and On Board Graphics Works.

My rig is.
MOBO - ASUS M4A88T-M
CPU - AMD Phenom II - X4 955BE
RAM - Corsair 2x4GB DDR3 1600MHz
GPU - Sapphire HD 6750 1GB DDR3
PSU - VIP TRUE POWER 500 Watts

5770/50 got renamed as 6770/50 so they are essentially the same card, though it should still show the right name. The shorter contact strips on the pcie connector are made like that on purpose, they are used to signal a good insertion into the slot, so if those shorter fingers make contact then it is safe to start it up properly as all fingers should have proper contact.

does device manager show any warnings/errors for the card as it's showing the small yellow mark next to it?

Your card might have a dual BIOS setup, one of them is usually write protected. Take a good look around the area near the crossfire finger(s) on the card, there should a little switch to choose between the two BIOSs.

edit the pics on Sapphires website of the card are a bit blurry, can't really see whether the card has the switch or not. Though it doesnt mention dual bios as a feature so I guess it doesn't have it then...
