Newly built pc, no display

I know this is a common and repetitive question but prior to posting this question I have tried many if not all the solutions I could find online. Maybe I overlooked a few things?

Here are my specs
Pc Case:
Cooler Master Elite 430 - Mid Tower Computer Case

PSU:
Corsair Builder Series CX 430 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS (CX430)

CPU
AMD Phenom II X4 965 AM3 3.4Ghz 512KB 45NM 125W 4000MHZ

Motherboard:
ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Graphics Card
XFX FX777AZNF4 HD 7770 CORE Edition 1000MHz 1GB DDR5

OS
Windows 7

Ram
Corsair Vengeance Blue 8 GB (2X4 GB)

I can get my pc to power up with no sucess with the display. I don't have a dvd drive installed and my motherboard has no vga slot. Any answers and solutions is greatly appreciated!

Are the CPU power cable and PCIe power cables both plugged in correctly? The former is an 8-pin connector on the mobo, and the latter is a 6-pin connector on the graphics card. They otherwise look similar. If your PCIe power cable has a 6+2 pin arrangement, it should NOT be plugged into the motherboard!

is the display on, is it on the right source? try using the MemOK! button on your board it will try several RAM configurations till it finds one that works.

the button is in the top right corner of the board

Are there any red LEDs lit on the motherboard? If so, it will indicate the subsystem having a problem.
Is the motherboard mounted on standoffs (or raised bumps, but not both), and there are standoffs ONLY where there are mounting holes?

There was a red light under cpu_light.

I just did that. Waited about 5 minutes to no avail

the red led next to the cpu is the MemOK! led. you need to have the computer off, then press and hold the MemOK! button for 5-10sec the machine should turn on and that light should blink
