Hello, I received as gift a Samsung TV UN40EH5050F, BUT.. the power cord is missing, I have this power cord "Hewtech LTK Hirakawa VM0296 OEM Power Cable 7A 125V 875W" and is supposed to be for photo printers, and im not sure if that would work with the Samsung TV.

The power cord port in the TV's case back says 2.5A / 250V in one side at the other says 5A / 250

The white sticker at the back of the TV says:

AC 110-120 60Hz 86W
Typical power: 35W

The thing is I want to order this Samsung power cord http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Power-Cord-Specific-Models/dp/B00926C4I4/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

And it also says 7A 18AWG 125V Cord, and is supposed to be used with most Samsung TV Models which includes the UN40EH5050F described above, so should I use the Hewtech LTK Hirakawa VM0296 power cord I found at home or the Samsung cord?

Solution
All that means is the cord is capable of handle enough current to support 875w of power. 7(a) * 125(v) = 875(w). That cable will be fine.

Yes the cord fits perfectly, but are you sure it will work?, I don't want to blow it because of the 875W cord and the 35W typical TV spec, and I don't really know what that exactly means in regards of safety.
