AMD v Intel Around £1000 per build

Built 2 Pc's on Pcpartpicker... Im pretty new to this so would like to know if they're compatable and which would be the best for gaming. Taking suggestions on swapping parts out for various others.

If gaming is going to be the PC's primary use, then I recommend you spend a bit more on the graphics card.

And since, from what I saw, you're not really into overclocking, you don't need a water cooler either.

What would that GPU compare to as in like how much better is it than a 670?

+1 for the graphic card, but isnt xeon processor overkill ? I would get a core i7 witch would be plenty!

The 280x is slightly faster than the 670. Also, the 280x features mantle and is optimized for newer titles in gaming.

Do you have an intel build you could suggest or is AMD the way to go? Aslong as its under around £1000/$1600 money isn't an issue.
