Hello,
So I have just built a new computer (first computer build) It all seems to be working fine except for one issue - when the computer goes to sleep by its self, the power light pulses but it won't turn back on again.
I have tried pressing buttons on the keyboard, mouse & the power button but nothing seems to work. I can hear the hard drives and fans spinning up but the monitors don't come on. The reset button also does not work. The only way I can get it to come on again is to switch the plug off at the wall and force-reboot the computer.
The specs are:
4770k
Asus Z87-A
Corsair 850w Enthusiast series (V2)
8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
128GB Samsung 840 Pro-Series SSD
1TB WD Black
2TB WD Green
Nvidia Quadro k600
TP-Link Dual Band Wireless Adaptor
Fractal R4
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit
All the BIOS settings are on default and I have tried with both hybrid sleep on and off as well as hibernating on and off and nothing seems to help. When I put the computer to sleep or into hibernation myself the problem does not seem to occur.
Thank you in advance to anyone that is able to help me!
Joe
