crosshair v formula-z sound chip vs sabertooth 990fx

i heared that the formula has a great sound chip on it, that's why people recommended it for me instead of the sabertooth 990fx, i just have a question does this mean that the sabertooth 990fx doesn't have a sound chip or is it like low quality and if so can it be fixed by buying a new sound card then ?
oh yeah and incase it works by getting a new chip then i heared that buying a sound card almost all are always better than onboard sound chips but does that apply even to the crosshair v formula ?

The ROG board has a really good sound chip. It's almost equivalent to an Asus Xonar DX. So it really depends on what your setup is. A better sound card doesn't improve your experience unless you buy quality speakers or headphones that can play the difference between the DX and something like a DGX. Almost all (less than $100) headphones and speakers will not be able to play the difference so in that sense, there's no reason to buy the ROG board for the sake of the sound chip. But a built-in sound chip would be better IMO because it'll be good and you free up a PCIe slot.

I generally go for top end sound cards, but I have several $300+ headphones and $500 speaker system.

ao principal nimguem fala né ? Asus ROG = 32GB RAM MAX DDR3 2400 O.C, quanto que a ASROCK = 64GB RAM DDR3 2450 O.C, particularmente iria de ASROCK, foi projetada para os FX 8350 e o 9590 sem dúvida. Por mais que te falem que a Asus CrossHair V Formula Z seja melhor para overclocking, jamais irá superar o suplimento de 64GB RAM, essa melhora de overclocking da CrossHair é simplesmente pelo sistema de calor da placa, nada que usuários da memória platinum dominator tenha que se preocupar, vale ressaltar que a configuração de aumento do clocking da ASROCK tem 1 ganho de 50ghz somente sobre a ROG da Asus em sua opção de aumento na bios. Realmente vale apena a ASROCK, a única vantagem da Asus é seu driver de som que é superior ao realtek, você escuta algo enchuto e limpo, bom nada com que usuários de sobwoofers tenha que se preocupar usando suas ASROCK.
