Dear community,
I have been looking to replace the graphics card in my fairly low end system. There is only one problem, the PSU supplys but 220 watt power. In almost every shop they recomend at least a 400 watt PSU for the 7750 (Low Profile). I've read on forums though that the 7750 might work on less power. I've done some further research and it seems like the 7750 only needs 16 more watt than my current graphics card (Radeon HD 6450). Should I just keep the 220 watt PSU because the rest of my system doesn't need a lot of power or should i just settle with a less powerfull card?

System information:
Acer Aspire x3470
AMD A6-3620 APU (Radeon HD 6530 integrated graphics) 2200 MHz
6 GB DDR3 Ram
AMD Radeon HD 6450 --> AMD Radeon HD 7750
220 watt PSU (DPS-220UB-A)
1 TB hard drive

Thanks for helping me out!

As long as your psu not some generic one it might be able to handle 7750. Normally the lowest recommended power supply to support discrete gpu is 300w. Also that 16 w figure i think that might be the power consupmtion when idle or doing task that require light gpu power like watching videos. When gaming it will consume more.
