Hi,

Just wanting to know if my system will run Ghosts at 60fps on the highest settings. (Not seeing recommended specs listed by Activision isn't helping matters - lol)

Intel i5 quad core 760 2.8ghz
6GB RAM
EVGA nVidia GTX670 - 2GB
2TB HDD
Windows 7 64-bit
Samsung SyncMaster 225ms monitor - 1680x1050 max resolution (yes I know it's old but it does the job, don't really want any higher resolutions and I always put Vsync on as I can't stand screen tearing - I run Black Ops II and BF3 at 60fps with Vsync on and next to no FPS dropping for the most part)

Any help/feedback much appreciated.

Cheers

Those game system requirements are rubbish to be honest with you :D .

You have a 670 mate, that has no problem maxing games (with low AA), and Ghosts would not be a burden on your system.

The only little bottleneck is with the CPU, though you can always alleviate that with an overclock. If you want Vsync, just turn on Adaptive Vsync in your Nvidia Control Panel so it automatically uses Vsync when it goes higher than your refresh rate and disables it when it dips below it.

I wouldn't say a constant 60FPS I go from a normal 75ish to 44 in most maps back up to 84 because the game is so horribly optimized. After updates yes, you'll get a constant 70-90 if they do it right.

Thanks Ortiz94x. I must say I am very disappointed in this game. The FPS drops are ridiculous - in some areas it was going from 60 to about 35 for no real reason. Not a graphics issue as I turned everything down to Low and it still did it. So badly optimized for PC like you say. Hopefully IW sort their s**t out and optimize it properly so I can actually play Squads mode with my friends online without the damn thing crashing my entire system. :-P
