The DRAM light on my motherboard has appeared for the first time. I tried to forced some ram that wasn't for the slot but the sockets don't seem to be damaged. I bought a video card today also and inserted it. I do not have any ram that's for this motherboard. If I bought ram that is actually compatible will the light come off or is the ram sockets damaged? I get the beeps saying there is no ram before and after I tried to force the ram in.

These are my parts..
Also when I press the mem ok button it starts to flash and gets faster then changes to a solid red.

Why in the f*** would you force ram in a slot?!?!? Dude! If your computer won't recognize that their is ram installed, then that means you have damaged the ram, or the motherboard, or both. You need to go out and buy ram that will fit your motherboard, and install it and see what happens. If the motherboard still doesn't recognize the ram, then that means you have damaged the ram slots on the motherboard. Go out and buy a new motherboard. It's a shame too... it's a nice mobo... :(
