I posted on here earlier about my USB Wireless network dropping out after a time period since upgrading from Windows 8 to 8.1... I was told to check my power settings, but these were already OK. I have since purchased a TPLink PCIe Wireless Network adapter and downloaded the latest drivers from the net (because the CD that came with it was "Not compatible with my platform" despite the box saying that it was Window 8 compatible. My computer power settign is "Flog it till its dead", my USB selective suspend setting is Disabled, My Wireless Adapter Poer Saving Mode is set to Maximum Performance, The Device Manager Properties for the network adapter has the Turn off device option on the power management tab turned off and yet it still shuts down my internet browers capability after a period of time... My samsung phone works perfectly, my Ipad works perfectly, my laptop running windows vista runs perfectly, it is just the new PC with Windows 8.1 that has an issue... as I said, there was no issue i went froom Windows 8 to 8.1.

Hints, Tips, Tricks, suggestions????
