How much does it cost to replace internal laptop battery?

How much does it cost to replace (on average) an internal laptop battery? These new laptops that I'm looking at purchasing have internal batteries which worries me. How much does it cost to replace one of these batteries? Can you do it yourself?

laptop batteries vary from about $30-$100 depending on the brand of laptop and the brand of the battery. cheap chinese batteries are cheaper than oem. the thing to remember is that you get what you pay for. that having been said,if you buy a new laptop,it will be quite some time before you will be worrying about battery replacement. they are easily replaced.
