install.exe is not a valid win32 application

i tried to install win 8 in my pc which is currently running win xp ,when i clicked on install.exe then it a message comes up and says install.exe is not a valid win32 application. although my installation file is of 32 bit

Uh, I don't know where you found an install.exe file but the proper way to install windows is to make a bootable dvd from the ISO file. (assuming you paid for it) This method can be easily googled. (I don't feel like explaining it)

It will not work if your win 8 (downloaded or bought) is x64 and some people will fake that it is x32 or x64 just to get money(bought) or popularity on the net(downloaded) believe me i was tricked once and i reported the man who sold me it and i got my refund + he was in jail for 5 months
