How to update BIOS?

Hey ppl recently i was going to update my bios for solving this issue "computer freezes while playing games".. im going to update bios through my 16 gb pendrive.... as everybody knows that i need to keep the pendrive as first boot device.. but i dont know which to select.. should i select:

1. USB-FDD
2.USB-HDD
3.USB-CDROM

and many more but i cant remember... plz help

I'd advise not to touch the graphics card while it's running. 2 months ago i had a geforce GTX 660 and if you're grounded in any way, the static electricity from your hand can fry the card. Its what happened to me. As far as boot device, Not CDROM and HDD is Hard Disk Drive. So keep it at FDD.

One thing you should know though when using flash to update bios. The flash drive has to be formatted to a FAT32 File system.
