looking at a lga1150 Gigabyte Z87N Wifi ITX paired with r9 280x ,i5 4670k and a bit phenix prodigy..would i be able to do moderate over clocking with this board? and can i replace the stock wifi card installed?

Solution
The previous models of that board had overclock issues due to inability to adjust the vcore but that model is a good overclocker, you'll be sae with that. Especially with the i5.

As far as the built in wifi, you can just go into device manager and disable it then install your own via USB or PCI
