how to use two haRD DISKS IN ONE COMPUTER

I HAVE 1 HARD DISK OF 500GB WHICH HAS 2GB RAM AND WINDOWS8 INSTALLED IN IT.
I HAVE ANOTHER HARD DISK OF 160GB WHICH IS UNUSED. I WANT TO USE IT IN THE SAME COMPUTER........SO HOW CAN I DO IT....

With the PC turned off, simply connect the drive to the motherboard using a IDE or SATA cable (depending on the drive).
If it's an IDE drive, set the jumper on the drive to 'slave' or 'cable select'.
When you re-boot, the computer should detect the drive automatically. If it tries to boot from the drive (or you get a 'No OS' message), you'll need to go into the Boot section of the BIOS and make sure the 500Gb drive is selected as First Boot.

If the drive is unformatted, Windows 98 won't see it, and you'll need to format the drive first either in DOS or with third-party partitioning/drive management software.
