Hi!
So basically I was in the middle of playing a game and then the colors started to go strange, played for another 10 minutes and then i got a blue screen, did not manage to read what it said.
Restarted the computer which worked fine, started playing again and then the exact same thing happened.
But now after restarting i get "No Video Input" on the monitor.
So I understand that it's most likely the GPU that needs to be replaced, but I want to try everything else that I can try before having to replace it.
There's 3 lights on the GPU which are glowing green as normal, the fan is running as well.
The monitor works fine when i plug in my laptop with a VGA cable. My GPU only has DVI slots though and don't have another DVI cable lying around. But a faulty cable would not cause a BSOD i guess?.
There's no onboard graphics on the motherboard, so can't try that either.
Have tried unplugging the battery on the motherboard for ~1 hour.
Swapping around my RAM.
Trying my other PCI-E slot.
I haven't done any hardware changes lately and the computer is getting kind of old, around 5 years or so.
Is there anything that I can try or is this 100% my GPU that needs to be replaced?
Thanks in advance!
