I have seen a lot of benchmark regarding ddr3 RAMs, but they are seldom the RAMs that are most common. It's always a comparison of enthusiast's RAMs. However, I am a normal user.
The two most common RAMs that are available to me (and cheap) are ddr3 1333 CL9 and ddr3 1600 CL11 (value rams). I have some questions:
1. Is the ddr3 CL11 1600 noticeably faster than ddr3 CL9 1333?
2. For the same amount of money, I can get 32 gb ddr3 1333 or 16 gb ddr3 1600. In this case should I go for amount of RAM or speed? In fact going for 32 gb RAM ddr3 1333 costs less for me.
What are your opinions? Don't ask why I'm getting 32 gb. Let's just say because I can. I am using Xeon E3 1245V3, a GA-Z87X-D3H mobo and an Asus GTX 780. I am not an overclocker.
