Hello! i just bought GIGABYTE RADEON R9 270X and today i built it in my computer. But it does not really work. All the fans are running. But the screen gets no signal. Also the keyboard and mouse does not work at all.
my setup is:
MOBO: MS-7613
CPU: Intel Core i5 650
RAM: KINGSTON 8GB 2400MHZ DDR3
PSU: OCZ SILENCER MK III 600W POWER SUPPLY

I tried to put my old graphics card in and then it work fine. also tried to reset CMOS and take the RAM out and put in again. No result.
Whats the problem and how can i fix it? Is it DOA?

What is old video card? Did you look bios after new video card was in system? If you can try that video card in other system.

Not sure of this. But seems like you have issue with mobo and video card comparability. Old video card is PCI-e 2.1 and new is 3.0?
So maybe that video card is not working with that mobo?

Yes. Should work. But is it working with that mobo?
You can try find bios update. To get it working.

So in theory i can just get a new mobo and it will work?

I've read about this problem several times in German forums, an a bios update of the mobo helped to fix it. some people had to write to the customer service of the company that made their mobo, because there was no actual bios to download, but the customer services sended a new bios to them. first try this before buy a new mobo ;)  it seems, that people with newer cards and intel cpu's have this problem, with mobos from Asrock and Asus.

My Gigabyte R9 270X will arrive tomorrow, I hope, I will not have this problem with my Gigabyte mobo for AMD.

maybe this will help you, not the same card, but the same problem:
